Rumors that Apple will introduce a new generation of iPad Pro tablets this year have been around for a long time, and now conceptual renders have appeared, which are made with the information from the rumors.
Thin screen frames are a big plus for the prospective iPad Pro, but in order to keep the Face ID system, we will have to move to bangs. And both its location and the logo on the back panel indicate that the tablet will be used for much more time in horizontal orientation than in vertical.
The logo itself on the back will become larger and, according to rumors, will be decorated with glass – to implement wireless charging. In April, the editor of the authoritative resource Bloomberg Mark Gurman (Mark Gurman) reported that the iPad Pro next generation along with the SoC M2 will support MagSafe. As for the M2 platform, it is expected to retain an 8-core CPU, but the GPU will have more cores – 9-10 instead of 7-8 in the M1. Apple M2 will be produced using a 4-nanometer process.
The new iPad Pro is expected to premiere in the fall, probably in September. By then, the current iPad Pro will be 16 months old, so it is unlikely that Apple will delay with the release of the new generation.
