Nothing has unveiled three partners that will handle sales of its first smartphone called the Nothing Phone (1) in Europe and India.
In the UK, the exclusive carrier will be O2. It will be promised exclusive offers for buyers. The situation is similar in Germany, where Telekom will be the exclusive partner for the Nothing Phone (1).
That is, the smartphone will be available for purchase in Europe at O2 retailers and online stores in the UK, as well as in Germany through Telekom’s online store and “select partner stores.” It is unclear whether retailers other than telecom operators will offer the phone in the UK and Germany, but this will probably be announced later.
In India, the Nothing Phone (1) will be sold by Flipkart: Nothing has expanded its partnership with that company, which began last year. There was no mention of exclusivity in Nothing’s press release.
Features, release date and price have not yet been announced.
