Russian Renault dealers sold 4,072 cars in March, down 65% from March last year. In the first three months, sales collapsed 26% to 2,392 cars.
That put Renault in fourth place in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand’s market share was 8.1%, down from 7.8% a year earlier. This suggests that the sales of other companies collapsed more.
The Duster crossover remains the best-selling model of the brand in Russia, with 1,457 people buying it last month, down 35% from a year earlier. Second place went to the Logan sedan, sales of which dropped 75% to 853 units. The third leader is Renault Sandero hatchback with the result of 719 sold cars (-71%).
The Renault Kaptur crossover was chosen by 554 buyers, down 70% from March last year. Fifth place went to the Renault Arkana with 483 cars sold (-71%).
