Video cards are rapidly becoming cheaper. GeForce RTX 3080 Ti sold in China below the recommended price

Yesterday we wrote about how China started selling the flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT at the recommended price, and now the source is sharing details about the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, which has fallen even more in price in the local market.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti went on sale in China last June with an official price of 9,000 yuan ($1,415). Now a local graphics card manufacturer (judging by the cooler and backlight, it’s either the Gainward RTX 3080 Ti Phoenix itself, or its clone) for $1,240. That is, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with a pretty decent cooling system is already quite realistic to buy in China noticeably cheaper than the recommended price. Of course, so far this is only the first swallow, soon to appear on the local market and other versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with a close or similar price. And all this is a great demonstration of video card market stabilization.
