The Xiaomi Civi came out last year and became the company’s thinnest and lightest smartphone (thickness – 7 mm, weight – 166 grams). At the beginning of the year there were rumors that the company was preparing an improved version of the Civi – the Civi S. And now these rumors have been confirmed officially: today the manager of the Civi line Xinxin Mia (Xinxin Mia) wrote in Weibo “see you tomorrow,” and the message itself was sent with Xiaomi Civi 1S. There are two options going forward: either the full premiere of the Civi 1S will take place tomorrow, or the company will disclose the date of this very premiere.
This is what the original Xiaomi Civi looks like
Civi 1S will retain the title of the thinnest and lightest Xiaomi smartphone, while becoming better in technical terms. But not much better: the Civi 1S will only be an evolution of the original Civi.
Rumors attribute the Civi 1S to a 6.55-inch curved OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz frame rate, a 32-megapixel front camera (based on a Sony IMX616 sensor), a main camera with 64MP (Samsung GW3, with OIS), 8MP (Sony IMX355, ultra-wide-angle lens) and 2MP sensors. Also in the configuration are stereo speakers, NFC, a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and Android 12. IP53 shell protection is also mentioned. Three memory configurations are promised: 8/128, 8/256 and 12/256 GB.
