OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace and OnePlus 10R are the same smartphone, but intended for different markets, as expected. The OnePlus Ace Ace will launch in the Chinese market, while the OnePlus 10R will be a global model.
The company also confirmed that even though they are the same phone, they will not be released on the same day. The OnePlus Ace will officially hit the Chinese market on April 21, and the OnePlus 10R will launch a week after that, on April 28.
Although the Ace and 10R smartphones from this brand are the same phones, there may be slight differences between the devices. There are reports that the OnePlus Ace will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, while the OnePlus 10R will get a MediaTek Dimensoty 8100-Max SoC.
The OnePlus 10R will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED E4 display with Full-HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It will have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will get a 50-megapixel camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 150-watt charging support.
The brand has already said it’s going to release three devices at an upcoming event on April 28. Along with the OnePlus 10R, the company will introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite and OnePlus Nord Buds.
