The four-year-old flagship Huawei Mate 10 Pro has unexpectedly received EMUI 12. However, so far only in the form of a beta version

According to a source, the flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 10 Pro released in 2017 received a new version of the proprietary interface EMUI. Recall, the Mate 10 Pro debuted with EMUI 8.0, and then successively received EMUI 9.0 and EMUI 10.0 updates. Now EMUI 12 firmware has been released for it. However, so far only in the form of a beta version.

Since we are talking about EMUI, the release of it took place in the global market (in China the Mate 10 line received HarmonyOS 2.0 back in January). The software of the new version is available for testing to users in South Africa and Spain, but probably soon other countries will also connect to the program.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro was released in October 2017. The smartphone features a 6-inch Full HD+ screen, the proprietary Kirin 970 SoC, a 4,000mAh battery, a 20-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
