The first test version of Android 13 for Google TV and Android TV is out

Google has released the first beta version of Android 13 for the Google TV and Android TV platforms.

Android TV 13 Beta 1 has already been made available to enthusiasts in the XDA Developers community. As for visual changes, Android 13 TV is not much different from Android 12 TV at the moment.

As noted by Mishaal Rahman, editor-in-chief of the well-known resource XDA Developers, the first beta version does not include features such as advanced picture-in-picture mode, Fast Pair support and a new low-power standby mode. The new features will be introduced gradually.

As is usually the case, you can test Android TV 13 through an emulator or on a special device – Google’s proprietary ADT-3 TV set-top box, designed for developers.
