The beta version of Android 13 is out for the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 5 and Redmi K50 Pro. Download links

Yesterday, Xiaomi officially announced the participation of its flagship smartphones and Pad 5 tablet in Google’s Android 13 public beta testing program, and today the company posted the corresponding images to the Web. The surprise was that the Redmi K50 Pro is also participating in the program.

Even yesterday, Xiaomi indicated that Fastboot mode is used to install Android 13 on all these models, and all data in memory will be deleted during the installation, so you should take care of a backup beforehand. Another point is related to the fact that the images are based on the first beta version (there will be four in total), so that the stability is not guaranteed at all. Usually the first betas of Android are designed only for developers, so they can be sure that their software is compatible with the new version of the OS, but participation in the public beta program automatically makes it possible to use the still raw version of Android 13 and ordinary users.
