We’ve been hearing more and more news about the Sony Xperia 1 IV smartphone, which means that its announcement is coming very soon. This week, the device was spotted in the popular test application Geekbench, which confirmed some specifications and allowed to evaluate its performance.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV smartphone, which runs under the model number Sony XQ-CT54, scored 1204 points in single-player mode and 3352 points in multiplayer mode. The flagship will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-core system and 12GB of RAM.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV has long been rumored to feature a new dual telephoto camera. The Xperia 1 IV 5G will get a 6.5-inch panel with an aspect ratio of 21 : 9. The screen has a 120 Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution. The screen will get Gorilla Glass Victus protection and HDR extended dynamic range support. The phone is expected to be IP68 rated.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV is rumored to be stunningly priced, 20% more than its predecessor. It will be unveiled in May this year, and sales aren’t expected to start until late 2022.
