SpaceX’s new Starship rocket is having problems again. A photo of the inside of the rocket has been published on the web, showing damage to one of the components.
It is reported to be a tube of the propellant system to the engines. As stated in the original report, it can be replaced, but there is a possibility that this rocket will still be scrapped.
We’re talking about the same Booster 7 stage that was tested earlier this month. Apparently, the tube was damaged during the test.
How the situation will affect SpaceX’s immediate plans is still unclear. Recall that the last time the company said that the first orbital flight of Starship could take place as early as May.
