Sony has released a system software update for its not-so-new gaming console, the PlayStation 4, which it hasn’t forgotten about despite having the next generation, the PlayStation 5.
Firmware number 9.51 is already available for PS4 users to install. The company itself doesn’t give too much detail about what exactly the 491.8 MB update changes. The release note notes only:
This system software update will improve console performance.”
Recall that on March 10, Sony suspended the PlayStation Store in Russia. However, then Russian PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users were able to buy games digitally again.
