Russians report problems when paying for the App Store from a cell phone in all operators

Russian Apple users are reporting that they are encountering problems when they top up their Apple ID account using their phone number.

More often than not, problems are reported by MegaFon customers, who receive various error messages gry trying to recharge their Apple ID account. MTS subscribers also have problems.


According to iPhones.ru, once I managed to subscribe to Apple One, but then my phone number stopped working with the App Store. Megafon disappeared from the list of operators that work with the App Store. Only MTS, Tele2 and Beeline remained.

It is not yet known what this problem is related to. There have been no official statements from either Apple or the mobile operators.
