The Realme Pad 5G tablet is getting ready to be released and could come in two versions equipped with different Snapdragon 8-series single-crystal systems.
A verified insider nicknamed Digital Chat Station claims that the base version of the device will feature a Snapdragon 870 single-chip system, as well as a 2.5K resolution LCD screen. The device will be powered by an 8,360 mAh battery and will get stylus support. Details about the camera and fast charging support are not yet available.
The older version will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ single-crystal system, which has not yet been officially introduced. This platform is expected to debut in the second half of 2022. There are no other details about the characteristics of the device. It is known that the tablet may debut in the Chinese market under the name Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer Edition.
Realme entered the tablet market last year with the launch of the Helio G80-based Realme Pad with 4G support. In April, Realme announced the Realme Pad Mini in select markets.
Digital Chat Station was previously the first to accurately report specs and release dates for the Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
