The South American division of Renault has presented an updated pickup truck Oroch, which is based on the first-generation Duster. The car has been produced in Brazil since 2015. In this country, the new model is offered at a price of $23 thousand.
The restyled Renault Oroch gets a new grille, a different front bumper, darkened taillights, and 16-inch wheels. The vehicle also received new rails and a plastic coating on the cargo platform.
Inside, the air ducts and climate control unit from the second-generation Duster appeared. The car also received a dashboard in the style of the Captur crossover and a large screen of the multimedia and entertainment complex.
The Renault Oroch is equipped with a 1.6-liter atmospheric engine rated at 120 hp and a 6-speed manual transmission. There is also a turbocharged 1.3-liter engine rated at 170 hp with a variator. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 9.8 seconds and its top speed is 189 km/h.
