One of the best-selling smartphones in the world, the Samsung Galaxy A31, got Android 12 in Russia

Samsung released the Galaxy A31 smartphone about two years ago. The device debuted with the One UI 2.x shell based on Android 10, and in April 2022 it was updated to One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. Now the smartphone has started receiving an Android 12 update with One UI 4.1.

It’s worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy A31 is one of Samsung’s best-selling smartphones, which has repeatedly made it into the top 10 best-selling smartphones worldwide. In addition to the new version of Android, the latest software update for the phone also raises the level of security patches until April 2022.

This update is currently available in Russia, it is number A315FXXU1DVD8 and is released in batches. The update should appear in other regions in the coming days. That said, Android 12 is the last major system update for the Galaxy A31. Unlike the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71, the phone is only eligible for two Android updates. That said, it will still receive security updates for a while.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 gets a 6.4-inch Full HD+ screen, the main camera has 48, 8, 5 and 5 MP image sensors, while the front camera is a 20-megapixel. The smartphone is built on the MediaTek Helio P65 single-chip system, it has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a 5,000mAh battery, as well as support for 15-watt fast charging and NFC.
