Eurocom has announced an expansion of its mobile computer range with the Raptor X15. It is both quite powerful and quite compact notebook. It has a 15.6-inch screen and weighs 2.6 kg. At the same time inside – a full 16-core desktop processor Core i9-12900K (of course, in the top version, the ordinary make do with processors simpler, such as Core i5).
The CPU supports execution of 24 threads. It is installed on a motherboard with LGA1700 socket based on the Intel H670 chipset and supports DDR4-3200 MHz RAM. Alas, since this is a laptop, the installation of full-size DIMM modules is not supported, but the maximum RAM is decent – 64 GB.
The graphics gas pedal, of course, is also not what is used in desktop PCs – all components of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti are soldered on the motherboard. Raptor X15 supports installation of three drives: two M.2 NVMe SSDs and one 2.5″ SSD or HDD. The notebook’s maximum file storage capacity is up to 24TB.
The Eurocom Raptor X15 features a variety of displays, including an IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at 165 Hz (BOE) and an IPS matrix with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 240 Hz (Sharp IGZO).
The laptop features a wired Gigabit Ethernet adapter, wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, stereo speakers, a backlit keyboard, one USB-A 2.0 port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and mini DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 video connectors. The battery capacity is 62Wh and the dimensions are 361 x 258 x 32.5 mm.
