The team at streaming video service Netflix has announced the launch of a new feature designed to make recommendations more accurate.
Two Thumbs Up” or “superlikes” became available for users in addition to the usual Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down. According to the idea of the developers, the new button should come in handy when the user really liked a movie or TV series.
Netflix abandoned the five-star rating system in 2017 in favor of two options for responding to content – Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down.
Note that on March 7, the Netflix team announced its decision to suspend operations in Russia and then removed its apps from the Russian versions of the App Store and Google Play. The apps reappeared last week. However, the Netflix Russian site still displays the warning “Netflix is not available in your country. And even if you manage to install the app from the App Store and Google Play, you need a foreign account to watch it.
