Many companies raised car prices in Russia again

Experts at the Autostat agency, based on monitoring conducted by the website Price Auto from April 1 to April 15, 2022, found that automakers operating in the Russian market continue to raise prices.

11 companies have raised their car prices, with many brands having either no pricing information on their official websites or as of February or March. We are talking about Audi, Changan, GAC, Geely, Honda, JAC, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Skoda, Volkswagen, Volvo, UAZ and others.


All cars of the German brand BMW went up in price by 12-26%. Infiniti cars became more expensive by 18-26%, Genesis products became more expensive by 7-15%. In the segment of mass brands Hyundai is singled out, the cars of which have become more expensive by 6-16%. Chinese Haval raised prices for its cars by 34-60%, and Great Wall pickup trucks went up in price by 50-54%.

Some manufacturers have raised prices on certain models. Suzuki changed prices of Jimny and Vitara by 10-13%, and FAW raised prices of Besturn X40 and Besturn X80 crossovers by 6-10%.
