Introduced “Italian” crossover SWM Tiger with fuel consumption of 6.9 liters per 100 kilometers

The Chinese company SWM has presented a crossover SWM Tiger, in the design of which one can find retronotki. It slightly reminds Haval Dargo, Changan CX70 or Changhe Q7, though it does not copy them.

The vehicle’s dimensions are 4605 x 1815 x 1810 mm with a wheelbase of 2780 mm. The cabin is equipped with a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, analog dashboard and a small screen of the multimedia and entertainment system. Under the air vents with red decorative inserts there is a climate control unit with physical buttons.

The car gets a 1.5-liter atmospheric engine with 116 horsepower and a consumption of 6.9 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers in mixed mode. The drive is presumably front-wheel drive. In the future, a hybrid SWM Tiger is planned, which will get an electric motor on the rear axle.

SWM was founded in Italy in 1971 and manufactured motorcycles, but went bankrupt in 1984. In 2014, the company was financed by Chinese conglomerate Shineray Group (SRM), and in 2016 Shineray signed an agreement with Brilliance to create a joint venture and start producing cars under the Italian brand in Chongqing.
