Ilon Musk’s satellite Internet will appear in Ukraine officially. Starlink will open an office there

Starlink, a provider of high-speed satellite Internet access, will open an office in Ukraine. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov.

“Now it is almost impossible to imagine Ukraine without modern Starlink technology. And this technology will become even more accessible to Ukrainians. After all, today we received another positive news – Starlink began work on opening a representative office in Ukraine!”, – he wrote.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation will contribute as much as possible to a faster opening of the Starlink office. “For my part, I have instructed the relevant authorities to ensure that the necessary procedures for attestation, measurements and the granting of frequencies take place as soon as possible,” Mikhail Fedorov added.

Recall that on February 26, Mikhail Federov asked Ilon Musk to turn on the Starlink service in Ukraine, and Musk quickly responded. And a week later, the first 500 sets of access to the Net (also called “plates”) with free firmware were delivered to the country. At the moment, according to Mikhail Fedorov, more than 10 thousand Starlink “plates” are already working in Ukraine.
