The Huawei Watch D smart watch, the world’s first smart watch with a cuff tonometer and ECG recording, has fallen in price significantly in China. It retailed in China earlier this year for $470, and now the device is being offered for the equivalent of $365 on JD.com. The price drop is almost 25 percent.
In addition to changing blood pressure and recording ECGs, the watch monitors blood oxygen concentration, heart rate, and sleep quality. The device works under HarmonyOS control and has a maximum autonomy of 7 days.
The Huawei Watch D configuration includes a 1.64-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 280 x 456 pixels, NFC and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters and a GPS receiver. There is also protection against dust and water in accordance with IP68, and 70 sport modes are supported.
