HarmonyOS 2.0 user interface for tablets

The HarmonyOS operating system received a major update last year. The manufacturer boasted that in August 2021, more than 100 million devices were running under HarmonyOS 2.0. Most of it is about hardware sold in China.

According to recent reports from China Huawei completes development of HarmonyOS 3.0. The first Developer Preview test compilations will be released in a few weeks, and the final version of the software will be made available to customers after the summer of 2022.

Huawei has not yet provided any official information on HarmonyOS 3.0. The operating system is expected to focus on refining the user interface and performance improvements. HarmonyOS 3.0 will be an incremental update that will not introduce any revolutionary features. The operating system will use the ArkUI platform, which has been designed To make it easier to develop applications for HarmonyOS using TypeScript or JavaScript.

HarmonyOS 3.0 will likely continue to be based on source code Android version AOSP (Android Open Source Project) with EMUI graphical overlay.
