The Honor X7 and Honor X8 smartphones were unveiled about a month ago, and now they’ve made their way to the European market. Honor’s UK site confirms that they are available for order.
The Honor X7 features a 6.74-inch drop-cut IPS screen that supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and has an aspect ratio of 20 : 9. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front side of the device, while the main camera has 48, 5, 2 and 2 MP image sensors. The Honor X7 is based on the Snapdragon 680 single-core system, the phone has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of built-in flash memory and a microSD card slot.
Honor X7 runs Android 11 with Magic 4.2 user interface. The 5,000mAh battery supports 22.5W fast charging. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The device offers dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Honor X7 is available in black, silver or blue, priced at £170. Buyers get the Earbuds 2 Lite headphones, which sell for a recommended retail price of £70. Honor X7 shipments are expected to begin next Friday, May 6.
The Honor X8 is built on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 single-core system and features a 6.7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2,388 x 1,080 pixels and a frame rate of 90 Hz. The front camera is 16-megapixel, the main camera – with 64, 5, 2 and 2 megapixel sensors. The Honor X8 gets a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W wired charging support. The OS is Android 11 with the Magic UI 4.2 shell. Dimensions and weight – 163.4 x 74.7 x 7.45 mm with a weight of 177 grams.
This phone is priced at £220 in the only version with 6/128GB of storage. Buyers also get Earbuds 2 Lite headphones as a gift, and deliveries are due to start today, April 26.
