Huawei was previously expected to release the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system this June, a year after the release of HarmonyOS 2.0. However, according to the latest reports, HarmonyOS 3 will not be released until September.
Huawei has now released a preview version of HarmonyOS 3.0 for developers who can already start getting ready to create apps. Huawei has said that HarmonyOS 3 will be the largest update since the operating system’s introduction and will continue to develop key components of the OS.
Huawei’s next-generation flagship cell phone, called the Mate 50, is expected to debut with HarmonyOS 3.0 pre-installed.
It was previously reported that the Huawei Mate 50 and Huawei Mate 50 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G single-core system. The new smartphones should receive improved cameras compared to the Huawei P50.
