Representatives of the domestic video service RuTube have confirmed that the service was subjected to a cyberattack, as a result of which it is temporarily not working.
Following the websites of Russian agencies, which have been under constant cyberattacks over the past two months, hackers have reached RuTube. The video hosting site was subjected to a powerful cyberattack. At the moment, it is impossible to access the platform. A response team is already working to restore access to the video service. How long the recovery process will take will become clear in the near future.
Russian authorities have previously said that RuTube, Yandex.Video, and VKontakte should become an alternative to the American video hosting site YouTube. In recent months, the audiences of these services have grown tremendously.
