Google shut down another of its services

Google has carried out its threat to finally shut down the Google Assistant Snapshot (“Snapshot” for Russian users) service.

A warning about the imminent closure of Google Assistant Snapshot appeared on the Google app’s home page in March. And now, according to thematic resource 9To5Google, the feature is gone on most users’ devices, which can be frustrating for people who use the feature on a daily basis.

Recall that Google Assistant Snapshot was the spiritual successor to Google Now, collecting useful information from various Google services in one place – weather, calendar events, people’s birthdays from their contact list, stock prices, and the like.
