Insider Evan Blass said that the Google Pixel Watch smartwatch running the Wear OS 3.1 should be released soon.
The watch goes by the codename Pixel Rohan, which could eventually be replaced by the marketable Google Pixel Watch. Or Google could use a more catchy marketing name for the device.
Earlier it was reported that the smart watch will receive Wear OS 3.1 features exclusive to this wearable device. In particular, we are talking about the fact that the watch will receive support for the personal assistant Google Assistant, which will be able to understand voice requests and perform tasks offline without connecting to the Internet. This feature is currently reserved only for some Pixel smartphones.
It is reported that the smart watch will be based on the Samsung Exynos single-chip system. Perhaps this platform will be called Tensor, but they are both still manufactured by Samsung.
Supposedly, they’re supposed to be unveiled in May at the Google I/O 2022 conference.
