Google made it easier to switch from iOS to Android with a new app

Google has released a new app on the Apple App Store that makes it easier for iPhone users to switch to Android. The app has been on Apple’s iOS store since Monday, but Google has not advertised its release.

The app, called Switch to Android, lets you choose which data from your iPhone you want to transfer to your new Android phone. This data includes contacts, calendar events, photos, and videos, and you don’t need a cable. The Switch to Android app will walk you through the steps, transferring all your iMessage messages, photos and videos stored in iCloud, and other data.

In 2015, Apple created an app called Move to iOS, which was designed for Android users who wanted to switch to an iPhone. Using a Wi-Fi connection, Android owners can move contacts, message histories, photos and videos, bookmarks, mail accounts and free apps. The Move to iOS app is available in the Google Play Store.
