Found a way to significantly increase the autonomy of the Steam Deck game console

As you know, the Steam Deck game console has a good battery life, but unfortunately this does not apply to demanding games, where the situation can be very deplorable. It turns out that there is a curious way to increase the battery life of the console.

One console owner found that reducing the display frame rate from 60 Hz to 40 Hz provided a 20-25% increase in battery life, which is quite a lot.

The catch is that now you can do such a trick only with Windows, that is, you’ll have to give up the native Steam OS. However, soon the developers promise to add such a possibility to Steam OS as well.
