Following Huawei, BOE turned its back on Russia

Despite the fact that China is considered an ally of Russia, the Chinese government is clearly cautious about supporting Russia. Chinese manufacturing giant Huawei has practically withdrawn from the Russian market, removed the apps of several Russian banks from AppGallery and disabled support for Mir cards in its AppGallery app store.

Now another Chinese manufacturer, BOE, has denied any ties with Russia. The basis for this statement was the information that BOE has a production line in Russia. However, in response to a question about “whether the company’s products have business relations with Russian buyers,” BOE stated that it currently has no production lines in Russia.

BOE also says it will continue to pay attention to shipments and market changes to ensure that products are delivered to customers around the world on schedule. The company will monitor the situation in Russia and Ukraine and will flexibly adjust its business strategy to reduce corporate risks.

BOE has developed many new types of AMOLED panels that can be bent, folded and twisted. The company has provided high-quality AMOLED screens for many of the world’s leading brands.
