First Razer notebook with Linux installed

Razer, known as a manufacturer of gaming computers, peripherals and accessories, has been producing Blade gaming laptops for ten years, and they are all offered with the Windows operating system pre-installed.

Now things have changed a bit – Lambda, with Razer’s full blessing, has released a version of last year’s Razer Blade 15 Advanced with the Ubuntu distribution installed.

The laptop is called the Razer x Lambda Tensorbook and it is not at all for gamers, but for developers of machine learning and artificial intelligence. The price is $3500, the hardware specifications correspond to the senior configuration of last year’s model Razer Blade 15.

Features include a 15.6-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics, 64GB of RAM, an 80Wh battery

Unlike the black Razer Blade 15, the new Razer x Lambda Tensorbook is encased in a gray case. Machine learning tools including PyTorch, Tensorflow, CUDA and cuDNN are also installed.
