Sony has released a fresh software update for the DualSense controller. It will be especially useful for users who don’t own a PlayStation 5 console itself.
It’s finally possible to update DualSense without being connected to a console. Now you only need a computer with the Firmware updater for DualSense wireless controller that meets these system requirements to install the latest updates:
- Operating system – Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11
- Memory space – 10 MB or more
- Display resolution – 1024 x 768 or higher
- USB connector
To update DualSense, you will need to install the application on your PC, run it, connect the controller to your PC with a USB cable, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
