At the end of March, the team of the popular cab aggregator Citimobile announced that it would close from April 15, 2022. As the press service stressed at the time, it was a complete cessation of work – it was not a rebranding or a transfer to another legal entity.
However, on the eve of the closure there were rumors on the network about the service’s negotiations with Taxovichkof to sell some of its assets. To all appearances, they turned out to be successful. After all, instead of shutting down the service, the app Citimobile updated for Android and iOS platforms. On Google Play the update was released on April 14, in the App Store – on April 15. The release note reads, “Everything works. Moving on.”
An industry spokesman told reporters that the app is now up and running for partner drivers and users, as the sale of some of the company’s assets is being resolved;
