Apple has managed to make the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max significantly more attractive than the standard model, so customers are increasingly choosing the more expensive models. Recall, the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro got 120-hertz screens, as well as cameras with 3x zoom.
The Elec reports that Apple increased orders for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max by 10 million units in the second quarter, which will have a very favorable effect on the average iPhone sales price and revenue figures.
The bulk of the increased order is for the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, up from a million units last quarter to nearly 8 million units ordered in the second quarter. For the 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max, orders increased from about 3.5 million to 6.5 million phones.
The one million iPhone 13 Pro smartphones shipped versus the 3.5 million iPhone 13 Pro Max in the first quarter confirms that many prefer the more expensive model, which features not only a larger screen but also the longest battery life in Apple smartphone history.
