Apple MagSafe Battery Pack can now charge iPhone smartphones faster

Apple has released a new firmware update version 2.7 for its MagSafe battery pack, which will charge iPhone smartphones faster. The charging power has increased from 5 to 7.5 watts.

To charge faster, you need to update your MagSafe battery to the latest firmware version. The firmware update starts automatically after you connect the battery to your iPhone. All users should receive the new firmware within a week.

There is also a faster way to update. To update the firmware using your Mac or iPad, connect one end of the Lightning/USB cable to the Lightning connector on your battery and the other end to your Mac or iPad. It will take about 5 minutes to update the firmware.

The MagSafe battery is compatible with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 line of smartphones.
