One of Saudi Arabia’s largest Twitter shareholders, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, said today that he is rejecting an offer from Ilon Musk to buy the entire social network. He owns 5.2% of the company.
“I do not believe that the offer made by Ilon Musk ($54.20 per share) is consistent with the intrinsic value of Twitter, given its growth prospects. As one of Twitter’s largest and oldest shareholders, Kingdom Holding Company and I reject this offer,” Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal Al Saud wrote on Twitter.
Earlier it became known that Elon Musk decided to pay more than 40 billion dollars to completely buy Twitter and make it a private company.
