Anonymous claimed to have hacked into a Gazprom company and leaked over 700 GB of data

The hacker group Anonymous, which has declared cyber war on Russian state organizations since the embarrassment of the situation in Ukraine, has made another statement about the hack.

This time, the hackers claim to have hacked into one of Gazprom’s companies (a joint venture with Linde) and posted 768,000 emails of employees of Gazprom Linde Engineering, part of the Russian gas giant, to the Web. Gazprom Linde Engineering is engaged in the design of various facilities.


Anonymous leaked 768,000 emails (728 GB) via DDoSecrets from Gazprom Linde Engineering, a company that specializes in designing gas and petrochemical processing facilities and refineries.

Gazprom Linde Engineering’s customers include Gazprom, Gazprom Invest, Gazprom Neft, Linde, Novatek, Tatneft, China National Chemical Engineering, Sojitz, and RusChemAlliance.

Another hack of the website of the Russian Orthodox Church’s charity wing was announced yesterday.
