American orbital plane Boeing X-37 can be a weapon of mass destruction.

Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Rogozin said that the U.S. Boeing X-37 orbital plane could be a reconnaissance or weapons of mass destruction carrier.

“We have no intelligible information from the United States about the purpose and technical capabilities of this apparatus. It is clear that our Armed Forces and the relevant ‘mining’ bodies have this kind of information, so we have no illusions,” Rogozin said.

According to the head of Roscosmos, we are talking about a vehicle returned from space. “It can be a carrier of some kind of reconnaissance apparatus and a carrier of weapons of mass destruction. This is a new category of carriers of weapons of mass destruction. An attack from space is a serious danger,” he stressed.

Rogozin noted that the Russian side is convinced that with the help of the Boeing X-37 the United States is trying to launch weapons into space.

The unmanned X-37B orbiter was launched in the United States on May 17, 2020, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida using an Atlas V rocket. Interestingly, the Atlas V flies with Russian RD-180 engines.
