The first major review of AMD FSR 2.0 technology has appeared on the web. Recall, it switched to temporal scaling, just like DLSS 2.0, which should provide better image quality. At the same time, AMD development does not require any special hardware, although the company offers a list of recommended video cards. Moreover, the first tests were done on GeForce RTX 3060, which is quite funny.
But this was done in order to be able to compare FSR 2.0 and DLSS 2.0 as correctly as possible. For this purpose the game Deathloop was chosen, which supports both technologies.
And the reviewers came to the conclusion that FSR 2.0 is just as awesome as DLSS 2.0 (even DLSS 2.3, if we’re talking specifically about the version in Deathloop). Sometimes the picture quality is even better, but you can see the difference only if you look at the screenshots very carefully, so one is unlikely to notice the differences in the game.
