Porsche has unveiled an exclusive 911 Sport Classic sports car for fans of classic models of the past.
The car gets the bodywork from the Turbo version, which is stripped of the air intakes behind the doors. The Porsche 911 Sport Classic has a carbon fiber spoiler in the style of the 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RS. The car also gets stylized classic Fuchs wheels with center nut mounting, and the Sport Grey Metallic body color is reminiscent of the Porsche 356.
The interior is finished in brown leather combined with checkered fabric, and the decorative panels are in wood. The graphic design of the digital instrument panel is retro-inspired.
The Porsche 911 Sport Classic has a 3.7-liter turbocharged engine with 550 hp, a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. It has a PASM suspension with adaptive dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes.
A total of 1,250 Porsche 911 Sport Classic cars will be produced and begin arriving customers this summer. They will also receive the Porsche Design 911 Sport Classic Chronograph.
