Xiaomi unveiled a special version of the Redmi Note 10 smartphone for the local market in Japan. The novelty is called Redmi Note 10T and is characterized by a typical feature for a “Japanese smartphone” – the presence of IP68 protection. This has long been requested by fans of the company in other markets, but Xiaomi is making an exception only for Japan. Also worth noting is the presence of eSIM.
The Redmi Note 10T is built on the Snapdragon 480 single-chip system. The smartphone will get a 6.5-inch IPS screen with Full HD+ resolution and a frame rate of 90 Hz, and the software platform is Android 11 with MIUI 13 interface. The screen is protected by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 3, with a fingerprint scanner on the side edge.
The front camera of the device is 8-megapixel, the main one – with 50 and 2 megapixel sensors. The battery capacity was 5000 mAh, and 18W charging is supported. The configuration of the device also includes an IR emitter and a standard headphone jack. The thickness of the smartphone body is 9.0 mm, weight – 198 grams. Finally, the price. The Redmi Note 10T in the version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of flash memory is priced at $275.
