Vivo will unveil its first foldable smartphone called the Vivo X Fold today, which has already become available for pre-order on its official website. In a short period of time, the smartphone has become a hit, as more than 340,000 people have ordered it.
The Vivo X Fold has been confirmed to have an 8-inch 2K internal folding screen with 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 3.0 technology. The X Fold screen meets or breaks 19 DisplayMate A+ records, and the hinge has been certified by TUV Rheinland for 300,000 flex/unfold cycles. It will also get a 6.53-inch, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz external display.
It will also get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-core system, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 flash storage, Android 12 and a 4,600 mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The phone is equipped with a quad-camera with the Zeiss logo, as well as the main image sensor Samsung GN5 of 50 megapixels with optical stabilization. In addition, there are 48, 12 and 5 megapixel sensors. The latter should provide a 60x zoom. It is also confirmed that the phone will get Wi-Fi 6 and NFC modules.
