256GB of storage, 90Hz, 5G, but only 10-watt charging, and that’s for $400. Next-generation Motorola Moto G 5G unveiled

In addition to the new $500 Moto G Stylus 5G, Motorola also introduced the next-generation Moto G 5G. It costs $400.

At the same time, the characteristics here are noticeably worse. For example, the screen of 6.5 inches has a frequency of 90 Hz instead of 120 Hz, and the resolution is only HD+. There is also only 6GB of RAM, but the same 256GB of flash memory. By the way, it’s quite a curious approach – to equip a mid-budget smartphone with so much memory and not to offer versions with less space. And there is a slot for microSD.

The heart is the SoC MediaTek Dimensity 700. The battery here is normal – 5000 mAh – but the charging power is only 10 watts, which is not normal even for budget smartphones, and for a device costing $400 should not be allowed at all.

The camera unit seems to be the same as the older model. The main sensor has a resolution of 50 megapixels, although in this case is deprived of optical stabilization. There is also a 12 megapixel wide sensor and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The resolution of the front one is 13 megapixels.
