Along with the Vivo X Fold smartphone, the company’s first tablet, the Vivo Pad, also debuted today. The novelty will compete with Xiaomi Pad 5 and Oppo Pad – these devices are as close in characteristics as possible.
Vivo Pad is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 single-chip platform. The RAM is LPDDR4X, the flash memory is UFS 3.1. The SoC received a large cooling system with an area of 13626.6 mm².
The 11-inch IPS screen features a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The resolution of the embedded front camera was 8 megapixels, while the main camera uses sensors with a resolution of 13 and 8 megapixels. The battery capacity was 8040 mAh, supported by fast charging capacity of 44 watts (it takes 95 minutes to fully charge the battery).
The configuration of the novelty also includes an NFC adapter and four loudspeakers. Vivo Pad is made in a metal case. The dimensions of the device are 253.15 x 164.71 x 6.55 mm, the weight is 489 grams. There are two color options: dark gray and blue.
There are two memory configurations: 8/128GB for $360 and 8/256GB for $455.
Along with the tablet, the company introduced a dockable keyboard with 64 keys and a large 5736 mm² touchpad. Its price is $95. Also presented a proprietary stylus that recognizes 4096 degrees of pressure. It is made in an aluminum housing and characterized by a long battery life – a year (subject to use for two hours daily). The cost of the digital pen is $55.
